Working with Us

At Lynda Studio, we are deeply committed to delivering high-quality work that reflects the standards and timelines of our clients. With roots in New York’s historic Garment District, our studio operates with a deep respect for craftsmanship, professionalism, and the fast-paced demands of the fashion industry.

We understand the importance of deadlines and we pride ourselves on meeting them.

These policies are here to ensure that every collaboration runs smoothly, fairly, and with the mutual trust required to provide excellent work and service.

Scope of Work Assessment

All new projects may begin with a general review and conversation to help determine next steps and provide preliminary guidance. Estimates, timelines, and scheduling are shared as available and may vary depending on project(s) details.

To inquire about starting a new project, please complete our New Client Form to request a studio visit. All appointments are scheduled case by case and subject to studio availability.

We appreciate your interest and look forward to collaborating!

Payment Terms

To begin work, a non-refundable deposit is required. No work will commence without this initial payment.*

  • Remaining balances are expected to be fully paid on the date of shipment and/or the ready-for-pick-up date.

  • Invoices not paid on time may result in withheld work or paused production.

  • All payment policies are subject to change without notice based on the nature and scope of each project.*

*Extended payment terms (e.g., net 30–60) are only offered in limited cases and must be governed by a signed written contract with a pre-approved corporate partner. This does not apply to individual clients or independent vendors.

Professionalism & Conduct

We strive to maintain a respectful, focused, and safe studio environment. We expect all clients to engage with our team in a manner that is professional, courteous, and aligned with a collaborative working relationship.

Conduct that is disruptive, disrespectful, or otherwise undermines the working relationship, including verbal, written, or behavioral actions, may result in services being paused or discontinued. We believe the best work happens with mutual trust and positive collaboration, and we look forward to building that with every client.

Fabric Storage

Lynda Studio is not responsible for the long-term storage of client materials, including fabric, trims, or supplies. All materials must be clearly labeled and delivered in a timely, organized manner. We do not offer storage beyond what is reasonably required in the course of standard studio operations. Any materials left at the studio without a written and signed storage agreement may be considered unclaimed and are subject to removal and/or recycling at the studio’s sole discretion.

Extended or ongoing storage (beyond 90 days) is only permitted under a signed written contract. Storage fees may apply depending on volume, duration, and available space.
